This was my second time competing in the fashion show, and my design won the Audience Award! I spent every spare minute from May to July 2024 working on this piece, and it paid off! I put all of myself into this one, and the audience felt it.
I first read the Dune books about 20 years ago, so I had been wanting to showcase a Dune design for YEARS. I'm so happy I was able to achieve my vision with this design. Sandworm visuals + regal armor + knitting + crochet = a truly one of a kind concept that became runway magic.
